Risk Rating Review Intern will be responsible for completing annual financial reviews of the Bank’s Borrowers to assign risk ratings. Daily tasks will include writing credit memos, utilizing financial models, evaluating collateral, and preparing research on key industries within AgFirst’s portfolio. These key industries include Timber, Grain, Poultry, Dairy, Swine, Beef, Sugar, Citrus and Greenhouse, as well as Rural Telecom and Energy. The Intern will also have the opportunity to present to the Bank’s Loan Committee. The Intern will work closely with both Credit Analysts and Capital Markets Officers.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Undergraduate or Graduate student with a background in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of GAAP accounting
• Detail oriented
• Excellent knowledge of financial statements
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
