The supervisor is responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of quality assurance automation testers and change management analysts for automating test plans, procedures, build/deploy automation, and build/deploy procedures.  This position would be responsible for design, supervision, and development of plans for testing of applications (web and windows) with industry software testing tools. Running and logging all test results of those plans within a test logging tool.  The position would be responsible for the creation and execution, and maintenance of all automation scripts. Develops plans and oversees automation of most applications for build/deploy using Team Foundation Server – Release Manager within all environments.  Supports development in the creation of build automation for applications and establishing standards for build/deploy tasks.
 
This position requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought-out results. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems and technology, and also analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Work must be done right and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work from co-workers and direct reports.
 
Requirements:

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 1-3 years comparable experience in supervising a team with knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Knowledge of test automation tools
  • Knowledge of TFS – Release Manager, Selenium, Jenkins
