Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the planning and execution of the Bank’s internal control assessment, in accordance with Farm Credit System requirements (Based on 2013 COSO Internal Control Framework).
  • Preparation and maintenance of ICFR related documents such as process narratives/flowcharts, key reports and spreadsheet documentation, and issues remediation.
  • Develops training presentations to Bank and Association employees regarding ICFR/SOX best practices.
  • Coordinates with external and internal auditors and Association management to meet ICFR requirements
  • Develops and modifies policies and procedures as necessary and monitors results
  • Assists in the model risk and fraud risk governance programs to establish best practices at the Bank


  • At least 4 years accounting and reporting experience, including both public and private accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Position requires excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, including ability to interact with all levels of Bank and Association management, as well as with external accounting professionals and regulators.
  • Proficient in a Windows environment using various Microsoft Office Suite products to prepare reports, memos, summaries, and analyses.  Extensive experience in Excel is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Workiva SOX or other GRC-type software preferred
