The Loan Origination and Servicing Assistant will focus on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Consistent, error free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert, who, recognized and supported by management and a stable work environment, can deliver quality work on a consistent basis.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of complete and accurate electronic filing systems that allow Lending Division personnel and internal/external auditors to readily locate all file documentation
  • Loan pre-booking process and post-closing activities associated with assigned credits purchased by AgFirst, which includes entry of customer and loan information in ACBS, tracking of loan information and documentation through the origination process, and reviewing loan documentation for purchased credits for all assigned files
  • Monitors status of past due and upcoming compliance and loan servicing actions for assigned accounts and keeps relevant LSMPs updated
  • Communicates with sub-participants on servicing actions for assigned accounts and conducts filing and posting of the relevant loan documentation
  • Provides backup to LOS team members
  • Responsible for performing various administrative duties for the Credit Analysis Department
 
Requirements:
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate‚Äôs Degree in Business
  • Experience working with loan documentation or similar administrative function
  • Thorough knowledge of corporate loan documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse group of people
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments within tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Access and other applicable software
  • Proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Capable of working independently and with little supervision
